Country Grammar

Last Friday I went to see Nelly....(once again, don't judge me) My best friend and soon to be roommate is a HUGE Nelly fan (and possibly his last lol). He was performing at Fur Nightclub in DC and of course she asked me to go with her because let's be honest.. only a best friend would go with you to see a performer that hasn't been hot in about 6 years. I had to admit it though, I did get a little excited after a while to see him. His performance wasn't even that bad, though I'm surprised he didn't perform Country Grammar, which went diamond in sales. Everything was all fine and dandy until MURPH DERRTY LEE got on the stage and I started screaming like the 12 year old girl he made me feel like. C'mon ladies... if you didn't like Nelly, you sure as hell liked Murphy Lee. I'm talking about those days when you were doing the chicken head while your feet sweat in those plastic Melissa's and wearing pleated skirts. EVERYBODY liked Murphy Lee. Oh and get this he touched me. I was front row center and he reached down and put his hand out so that I could touch him. I was screaming my head off like a groupie and I'm not even ashamed about it. I had a great time and it was worth it, I love memories like these with my best friend. Priceless.

Currently redecorating my blog, it seemed extremely boring and didn't reflect anything that had to do with my personality, so expect major reconstruction in wonderland. I also tried to update, but got a major case of writer's block so I decided to save you the horror of reading some half assed post I decided to whip up last minute. I do plan on blogging about my recent thrift store finds and a Nelly concert I happen to have gone to (don't judge me).
